5.1.4 Using the layer selecon modier keys

Based on this selecon, all operaons such as preset loading, source selecon, layer selecon, etc will be

directed to the Preview or Program.

5.1.4 Using the layer selecon modier keys

The Layer selecon modier keys allow you to quickly adjust your selecon of layers:

• NATIVE buon:

The NATIVE buon allows you to toggle between a standard layer selecon and a nave layer selecon.

By default, the Verge™ is in a standard layer selecon mode (buon is lit green). If you press the buon, the

nave mode becomes acvated (buon is lit yellow).

• SINGLE buon:

The SINGLE buon allows you to select only 1 layer. This layer to be selected is at the intersecon of the

SCREEN buon and DEPTH buon. For example, if the SCREEN buon is 2 and the LAYER buon is 3,

pressing the SINGLE buon will select the layer 3 on the screen 2. Using the le and right arrows, you can

adjust the screen number or the depth number.

• ALL buon:

Press the ALL buon to select all standard layers on all screens. When the Nave mode is acve, pressing the

ALL buon will select all nave layers on all screens.

• NONE buon:

Press the NONE buon to deselect all layers. When the Nave mode is acve, pressing the NONE buon will

deselect all nave layers.

• [+]:

Press and hold the [+] key to add layers to the current selecon. While holding the [+] key, any new layer

selecon from the touch screen or layer selecon buons will be added to the currently selected layers.

For example, select your camera layer 1 then hold the + buon and select all others camera layers.

• [-]:

Press and hold the [-] key to remove layers from the current selecon. While holding the [-] key, any new layer

selecon from the touch screen or the layer selecon buons will be removed from the currently selected

layers.

Select the main layer on Center screen

To select the main layer on the center screen (screen 2 in this example), there are several opons, depending

on your preferred work style:

Since you are selecng only one layer, you could quickly select it using the touch screen.

You could also navigate the SCREEN selecon buon to the center screen, navigate the LAYER selecon

buon to the Layer 1, and then press the SINGLE buon in the Layer selecon area.

You could also select all of the Layer 1 layers, and use the [-] key to deselect the unneeded layers.
